    The charger arrived, but it turns out I didn't need a charger. I needed a charger. I took the laptop to a local PC shop. He did a few checks on the old and new charger and the charger. He found my charger to be faulty, the computer shows it's not charging with my charger, but is charging when he plugged his charger into it. He advised me to go online and find a new charger made by the OEM seller, and to stay away from the Chinese crap. He advised the same for batteries.
